1914 - born in the village Zvarchadzor (Artik region).
In 1920s studied at the building college, Gyumri.
Within one year worked in Tamanyan studio as a draftsman, Yerevan.
In 1930s worked in Halabyan studio, at the same time attending drawing classes at the studio, Moscow.
In the 1940s returned to Yerevan, graduated from art College, named after F. Terlemezian, then Institute of Fine Arts and Drama, Yerevan.
After graduating from the institute was sent for the probation in Yoganson studio, Moscow.
Participated in republican, all-union and international exhibitions of the Artists' Union of Armenia.
1960-1980-s had several solo exhibitions.
Since 1967 – Honored Artist of Armenia.
1996 - died in Yerevan.
The works are kept in various museums of the former USSR, in private collections.
