1897 –born in Tbilisi.
1916-1920 – studied at school of painting and sculpture of the Caucasian society of Fine Arts encouragement (Tiflis) with A. Bajeuk-Melikyan, Y. Kochar, L.Gudiashvili.
1921 – became a second-year student of VKHUTEMAS (All-Union artistic-technical studios).
1948-1957 – was expelled from the Artists’ Union of Georgia, the years of oblivion began.
Since 1958 – resumed participation in exhibitions.
1962 – through the efforts of several Armenian intellectuals moved to Yerevan.
1976 – died in Yerevan on the eve of his 79th anniversary.
1980 – Giotto’s Museum was opened in Yerevan.
The works are kept in Giotto’s Museum (Yerevan), Modern Art Museum (Yerevan), National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan) and several private collections in Armenia and abroad.
