Khachaturian Gayane (1942-2009)

1942 –born in Tbilisi.

1955-1959 – entered painting school of the Art college named after Ya.Nikoladze, Tbilisi.

1963 – made the acquaintance of A.Bajbeuk-Melikian, who played a great role in her artistic formation.

1978 – became an exponent of Modern Art Museum (Yerevan).

On Henrik Igitian’s initiative, her works were exhibited in Portugal, then in Paris, Lyons, Marseilles, among the works of 31 Armenian artists.

2009 – died in Tbilisi.

The works are kept in NGA (Yerevan), Modern Art Museum (Yerevan) and several private collections in many countries of the world.
