Vardanian Varuzhan (1948-2010)

1948 – born in Ghachaghan village (Armenia).
1973 – graduated from the Institute of Fine Art and Drama, Yerevan.
1971-1974 – worked at Armenian TV-studio as the editor of the art department.
1974, 1976 – was the producing artist of “This green-and-red world” and “End of the game” films.
1975 – was awarded the annual prize for the best picture among young artists.
1978 – became Komsomol prize laureate.
1997, 2008 – was awarded “Tekeyan” prize.
Since 2003 – Honored artist of Armenia
2010 – died in Yerevan.
The works are kept in Modern Art Museum (Yerevan), National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan), Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow) and private galleries and collections of different countries.
