1920 – born in Seuleuze in Asia Minor.
1934 -1936 – attended a variety of evening classes in Montparnasse and the Marais.
1936 -1938 – had been admitted to the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs that had a great influence on the young artist.
1939 – exhibited his first painting at one of the galleries in Paris.
1957 – appeared in international arena, his works were exhibited in Italy, Belgium, England, Mexico and United States.
From 1989 - permanently displayed in the museum of Flora Jansem in Paris.
2002 – was awarded the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia with the degree of Honorary Doctor.
2003 – was shooted a documentary film about Jansem’s life and activites in English, French and Japanese.
2005 – on the 90 th anniversary of the genocide he brought to Yerevan and gave the museum a cycle of paintings on this vital topic as a present.
2013 – died in Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher, France.
